I like the NDB hunter on the LW band. My qth not is the best, because very heavy the noise in the town. Sometimes I am outgoing to my portable qth - at  near Veszprem - there are much better the signal/noise ratio.

My receiver is Icom IC-738,
Antenna:   long wire at home and a magnetic loop,
                on portable qth is 100 m long loop,
Location:   at home - Veszprém - 47' 07 N and 17' 59 E;
                at portable - Felsőörs - 47' 02 N and 17' 59 E;
