Pye Reporter MF6AM is a different series to the standard Pye Reporter.
Approximately 1978 
Transistorised
Ddash mounted mobile
7” BY 5” BY 1.5”  
Not liked by taximen as power out was 5 watts. 
It was meant to replace the Westminster
7 to 9 watts. But it was also deafer on receive and was unreliable.  Lots of Pye Mobile Engineers got them thrown back at them by angry Taxi Drivers..

DAVE HICKS G8EPR, MUSEUM CURATOR, HAD A SERIOUS ACCIDENT AT WORK IN EARLY 2016.
SADLY HE DIED AT THE END OF APRIL 2017.
