GEC LANCON.
500mw 99 MHz hand portable FM.
Circa 1962.
The first truly portable police radio, designed for the Lancashire Constabulary - hence called the LANCON.

One only brand new in its box less DEAC cells.
Probably unique.
Bought at radio rally for about 5 Pounds about 1990.

The site deals mainly with Pye (and other companies) Radio Telephone and Telecommunication equipment.  It is very unlikely that we will be able to answer any questions about Pye domestic radios, radiograms, record players etc etc
