Location

GB3NGI is situated about 15 kms south of the town of Ballycastle and about 27 kms south east of the Giants Causeway on top of Slieve Anorra mountain 508 metres above sea level.

The 2mtr Beacon has two phased transmit antennas beaming 45 and 120 degrees mounted 10 metres above ground level. The transmitter was constructed from a Pye/Phillips T4002 FM and has a power output of 25 watts. It became operational on the 15th December 1995

The 6mtr Beacon uses a Halo mounted approximately 5 mtrs above ground. The transmitter was constructed from a Motorola Maxar and has a power output of 20 watts. It became operational on the 23^rd May 2010 at 12:15
