Hello, and welcome to my web page. My name is Brian and my location is in the village of Mallusk, about 7Km north of Belfast, the capital city of Northern Ireland.

I have been interested in radio from an early age, and eventually made a career of it, by joining the merchant navy as a radio officer and later as an electronic officer. Redundancy forced me to give this up, and for over 26 years now, I have been involved in broadcast transmitter engineering.
I obtained my amateur license in 1973 when at marine college, and have been active, mostly on HF CW, on and off over the years. My current equipment includes a Kenwood TS870S with vertical and doublet antennas.
