GB3OH is located in Bo'ness near the town of Grangemouth.

GB3OH originally operated on RB4 from 1982 until 2012 but was changed to a 7.6 MHz allocation. GB3OH now operates on 430.950 + 7.6MHz

GB3OH is nowone of the repeaters along with GB3FE and GB7FE funded and run by the Stirling and District Amateur Radio Society.

Since 2009 the primary radio for GB3OH is the Simoco PRF1050 and used the GD4HOZ control logic that was previosly installed in the Storno CQF 662.

The antennas were originally a 3x 5/8 Co-linear used on receive and an SA460 dipole array used on transmit, but after several years of weather damage these were replaced with a set of SDH 450 dipoles. Click here to see a picture of the antennas.
The coverage prediction for GB3OH looks like this for mobile use, when   using a 6dB mobile antenna, and the predicted coverage using a hand portable radio.
Several components used in the current GB3OH were used in the original
Repeater when it was originally commissioned    sometime in 1979. These include the cavity filters
With the change to the wider frequency pair the cavity filters were decommissioned and with the installation of a Procom DPF70/6 duplexer we are now able to run GB3OH from a single antenna.
