Technical Data

GB3GD's latest radio was installed on Snaefell on Saturday 7th September 2002

Our latest acquisition is a Philips FX5000 base station. This is a state-of-the-art, synthesized, radio which is still to be found in service throughout the world. It has found application in all areas of mobile communications from taxi companies to Police and other emergency services.

In service, the FX5000 has been shown to be a very robust and high-quality radio, giving faultless service for many years. We hope that our new acquisition will prove to be equally reliable.
