Training planned for 2007

The following classes are in the GARC ECC (1027B W. Austin St, Garland) (see map) unless otherwise indicated. You do not have to be a GARC member to participate. To verify class times, locations or to sign up, contact Garland Newman, W5IDN, at w5idn@arrl.net or call at 972 495-8731.

Theory and Code Classes

These are classes that are geared towards preparing you to take your ham radio exam. Enjoy taking the classes with others all working towards getting their first ham license or upgrading their existing one. To ensure a place in the class, please email or call Garland Newman.

Technician Class license	A new Technician class starts January 23, 2007, at 7:00pm-9:00pm at the ECC (see map) and will run for five weeks. The series will culminate on February 22 with an Exam Session. There is NO cost for this class. (Yes, the class is FREE!^†)

Specialty Classes
