The Crypt

We welcome you into this place

Where we have saved a little space

Mind the steps and close the door

To this, our student body store

We’re underground, yet in the air

Of moving shadows just beware

Take care that you don’t die of fright

While drinking late into the night

If you die, you won’t be first

Though others may have died of thirst

Moderation’s not for fools

The drunks just end up being ghouls

Bodies rested down below

Some still haunt the afterglow

The headless ghost of old North Leigh

Will sometimes visit to take tea

The ghost of a Matron likes to roam

After midnight in the dome

Keeping watch on her old wards

Accompanied by the creaking boards

Enjoy your stay, we wish you well

Perhaps some ghostly tales you’ll tell

If you leave out of your head

Just ask yourself “should I be dead?”
