Love seems to have passed me by

Did it pass by when I blinked my eye?

Will I find it before I die?

Perhaps I didn’t even try

Was it hiding in clouds up in the sky?

Could I have found it if I could fly?

Is it something that I could buy?

Do I need love, if so, why?

Am I that kind of guy?

Maybe it’s because I’m shy

Does being in love make you high?

Not having it doesn’t make me cry

Should I smarten up and wear a tie?

I could try to bake a great big pie

Perhaps my chat is just too dry

Did I miss a chance, did I deny?

Perhaps loves rules I did defy

Did I miss-understand and then decry?
