Both Bryn and Jayne's families come from farming backgrounds. Bryn's family are Welsh coming from Newtown in the Welsh Marches or border regions of Wales. The county used to be called Montgomeryshire but is now part of the larger county of Powys. Jayne's family comes from the rugged area of Hartland point in North Devon - some of the most beautiful (and dangerous) coastline in the United Kingdom. The tradition of the 'wreckers' is not far away!
