My interest in trying to record propagation enhancements was initiated by the RSGB Propagation Studies. The Yahoo "Greyline" group is not too active, no doubt due to work pressures on the co-ordinator. The group is primarily interested in "true greyline" when both sites are experiencing dusk/dawn. I have decided to publish my results here in the hope it promotes some interest. Please email if you wish. Grayline, an alternative spelling.

Especially useful would be knowledge of suitable stations to monitor. They have to be identifiable and transmit continuously with constant power and antenna on the same frequency during the "Greyline" period. IF anyone wants to study the recordings in detail I SHOULD be able to find the SpecLab text files and screen captures.

Notes on using SpecLab to observe and make recordings.

Some Examples of Dusk/Dawn Enhancements on Various Stations. Some Techniques used to identify stations.

Latest Recordings. I am looking at some African stations giving near mutual greyline. (Goes to my local site)

Excel Charts of SpecLab recordings. Some of these pages will take some time to load on a slow connection.

Recordings from VP8FI on Various Frequencies  These are attempts to record "true greyline". November-December 2004
