INTERNET GATEWAY SYSTEM OVERVIEW
This page shows a very basic system overview of how the connection's are established within the infrastructure. As can be seen the carrier of the traffic after the actual RF stage is the Internet (which of course uses not only satellite, but other mediums to convey intelligence). User's that initiate call's from mobile or hand portable radio equipment, instigate this chain in order to establish communication with another user. Radio users can also establish communication with the PC user shown in the diagram and vice versa.
