Vintage Radio Collection

I was an avid collector of old and new military surplus radio equipment. I still have strong feelings for this type of equipment. I had a collection of some 52 different radios and a grand total of some 60 radios counting duplicates and they all were restored back to original and working, using old components from scrap EX-WD radio equipment. The collection was all stolen in 1985/86, some of the items have been seen recently for sale, but it has been so long ago that the UK Police will do nothing to retrieve the stolen radios, we even know who has got some of the radios as well, don't we Mr. Warren Le Serve! This lack of action is just typical of the UK Police Farce!

More recently I have been collecting 1940/50's vintage valve (tube) domestic radios and have amassed quite a collection of them. They can be viewed by clicking on the photo of the Red Roberts R66 radio on the right. >>>

My interests are Photography - both contemporary film/paper type photography and electronic digital photography, amateur radio & a touch of electronics thrown in. Any one wanting to know more about any of the radio pictures that are on this web site, they can e-mail me at keith.watt at hushmail.com and I will try my best to answer any questions or give any help I can.
