There exists on GB7OAR, a ListServer to provide a means for amateurs who are interested in the excellent TSTHOST program by Mario IK1GKJ, to exchange ideas, problems and files with one another.
Any messages sent to the TSTH listserver will be automatically forwarded to you as
private messages.
The TSTH listserver is designed as a general forum for people to discuss TSTH matters,
help others and generally air matters related to TSTH, within a circle of similarly
interested colleagues. If someone places a request for help, and you have an answer,
please send it to the listserver so that we may all share and benefit from the knowledge.
Feel free to quote parts of the original article to improve clarity. Please do not reply
by private mail as this defeats the object of a listserver. Even if your question or
answer seems daft and you feel embarrassed to send it, please do so. You never know who
will benefit from something that seems trivial to you.
There now follows a copy of the TSTH ListServer help file. If you are interested in
TSTHOST why not subscribe to the list. You can subscribe or unsubscribe whenever you like.
Help File for Listserver on GB7OAR
Part 1 - General Administrative Commands
These are not the commands for sending messages to the listserver for duplication to all
subscribing stations. These commands are for subscribing, unsubscribing and interrogating
the system at GB7OAR.
The command syntax is :-
SP MYLIST @ GB7OAR <<==== message
address (must be sp not sb)
Title <<==== you may use any title (eg. request)

CTRL-Z or /EX
<<==== to end your message
These are the commands you may send to the listserver :-
SUBSCRIBE TSTH
<<==== adds you to the mailing list
UNSUBSCRIBE TSTH <<==== removes you from the list
HELP <<==== returns this help file
LISTS <<==== returns the names of all active mailing lists
USERS TSTH
<<==== returns a list of subscribed stations
Example Message
SP MYLIST @ GB7OAR <<==== message
address

LISTS <<==== send me a list of listserver topics
USERS TSTH <<==== send me a list of subscribed stations

These commands may be mixed in the same message at will.
Part 2 - Sending Messages for Duplication to all Subscribing Stations
This is the method of sending a message about a listserver topic (eg. TSTH), to all
subscribing stations. Use this method for replying to a request for help or information so
that it may be shared by all.
Example Message
SP TSTH @ GB7OAR
<<==== message address
CBELL Problem <<==== relevant message title
Hello All, <<==== 1st line of text
Many thanks for the help with the ebell commands. All OK now.
73,
Ken
CRTL-Z or /EX
<<==== to
end the message
There is no point in including ACK requests in your messages to TSTH. They are pointless
as all replies would be sent back to GB7OAR. Nowdays the MYLIST software filters them out
!!
