BECOME A RADIO AMATEUR.

If you are interested in becoming a 'radio ham'and obtaining your own unique radio callsign We are a registered
examination centre for The Radio Society of Great Britain. Our instructors are teaching Amateur Radio courses
at all levels throughout the year. We have had students of all ages from 8 to 80 plus who have passed their exams
and are now licenced 'Radio Amateur's'

On Tuesday Oct 17th 2006 The Committee awarded The Harold Chadwick memorial cup to our Treasurer Peter Nettleton M0XKF.
Our sincere thanks go to Peter for his tremedous work and dedication to ensure the future of The Worksop Amateur Radio Society.







Oct 2007 The Committee awarded The Harold Chadwick memorial cup to Geoff Lowe G7SRI for his work at the clubhouse,
coupled with his tireless work with the examinations and his liaison between the Worksop Amateur Radio Society and the RSGB on
behalf of the Tutors and Students.





On Tuesday Oct 21st 2008 The Harold Chadwick memorial cup was presented to Cath Travis M0TAL and
John Travis M3LNS for their tireless kitchen work at the Worksop club
also for their dedication and support on the field days.The presentation was made by Roy Henson M0ROY club President.





Oct 20th 2009 The Harold Chadwick memorial cup was awarded by a unanimous committee decision to Daz Spence M0TTY
for his excellent work organising the exams on behalf of the tutors and students together with his dedication
and help with the field day activities,our sincere thank to Daz. The cup was presented by our club President Roy M0ROY.






Oct 2010. This year the Committee awarded The Harold Chadwick memorial cup to Martin Fern M0ZMF
for his excellent renovation work at the clubhouse during the past year.
The presentation was made on behalf of the club by our President Roy Henson M0ROY.







On Tuesday 16 November 2010, Bruce K0BJ made a visit to the club. Bruce a regular operator on GB3XN repeater
was able to meet Fred G3XXN the repeater keeper and members of our club.
During the evening Bruce made a presentation to Martin M0ZMF, we also had the pleasure of his company at
the committee meeting where he was awarded the first associate membership of our club

OCT 2011.The Harold Chadwick memorial cup was awarded this year
to Andrea Bostock M0LLW in recognition for her excellent help in the club house.
The presentation was made on behalf of the club by our vice president Paul Travis M0GET.








OCT 2012.This year the Harold Chadwick memorial cup was awarded this year
to Steve Hambleton G0EAK for his excellent work on behalf of the club.

OCT 2013.At the club AGM this year the Harold Chadwick memorial cup was awarded to
Derrick Webster M0BDD for his excellent work promoting and teaching CW on behalf of the club.
The presentation was made by our President Roy Henson M0ROY.








OCT 2013.This year at the AGM the 'new club trophy' was presented for the first time to the new member who the committee thought had made the-
greatest effort and contribution to the club, after consideration, the overwhelming decision by the committee was to award it to Neil Hewitt 2E0NDH
