		Hi ! and thanks for lookin in on my little webpage - I'm Dave,living in Devonshire, a few miles from the seaside town of Sidmouth, England - WAB Locator SY-08 That's between Portland and Torquay on the English channel coast. This is one of many attempts at constructing a Web-Site so far so good -  - my email is : [email protected] Radio Amateurs mostly like to confirm their contact on the air with a Qsl Card like the one below - these are sent via their countries Qsl Manager Collation Centre and distributed from there to the various other centres in the world...

First licensed in May, 1957 - I've been active on & off over the years - but the last 3 years have been more consistant with many new friends and many more Qso's and plenty of very nice Qsl cards coming in. My dogs keep me busy, as does the Internet... Currently I'm using a Yaesu FT980 with 100watts and a very good full size G5RV antenna - that's a sort of modified 'Dipole' aerial with 102 foot top.- also a recent purchase is a Cushcraft AP8A - 8 band trapped Vertical. Doesn't work too well at the moment as the dog's keep digging up the radials!!!

	Main interests - Earning Money, Showing, Working and breeding my own strain of GERMAN SHORTHAIRED POINTERS .. Currently I have four Gsps - Mole, Mallow, Merlin and Murphy the Puppy - Merlin is out of Mallow (I even had a dog called Marsh recently ((Marsh Mallow !)) Mallow was put to a full Field Trial Champion German Import last year(K.S. Dolf vom Wittekind) and had 8 puppies, one being Merlin...His brother Quartz is living in Brisbane, being worked etc - both now two years 7 months (Oct/00)

Other interests are in Falconry - Drinking BASS (a real ale)!!! - organising small Dog Shows for Charities; and playing darts and Skittles (not 10 pin bowls) - also I enjoy a good game of EUCHRE..a Card game.

	I'm generally on the air on 20m at the moment (October 2000) around 14046khz or thereabouts..this is around 0630gmt if I can get up..having a sked. with my old Navy mate VE7EQD over in B.C.... Member of the Axe Vale Amateur Radio Club. Fists Member 5534 (lapsed - 'Oops). Royal Naval Amateur Radio Society No. 735. My brother ALAN lives in Melbourne - but I can't seem to get him licenced - little does he know that my signals invade his living room most mornings/evenings - CQ VK... !!
