We moved into our "new house" on 1st November 2002

To date, we have had a large extension built across the back of the house, had a new front wall built in place of the old picket fence, and had new gutters & downspouts, fascias and soffets fitted. We had these jobs done professionally by a local builder who we'd recommend anytime as their workmanship is second to none. They were G & P Bowers, (no relation, but if they are, it's a distant relation)

I have fitted new kitchen, laid laminate flooring, fitted a new bathroom suite,  taken out the old airing cupboard, making the bathroom bigger and installed a walk in shower cubicle( after re-plastering the whole room. My latest job was to take out the old staircase handrail and fit  new Newel posts, spindles and handrails up the stairs and along the landing. Outside, I have built an area of decking, ideal for BBQ's, or just lazing in the sun,,,when we get it!

The next big job is going to be done later this year, that is to relay the drive and pathways with block paving, it's a big job as the drive will take 2 cars,3 at a push side by side. And, at some point I have got to make a set of iron gates.

We are thinking of renting our home out  for the weeks of the British Golf Open, to be held at the "Royal Liverpool Golf " at West Kirby/Hoylake in 2006. Please email me if you would be interested! Please look at the page on this website for a map.
