Re-Align If You Must

So, you do feel you need to and must re-align your Trio R1000 because you think the new BF981's have affected the RF/IF Amp tuned circuits! Best follow these simple steps:

• 1. Tune in to the test signal used to check Signal-to-Noise ratio.

• 2. Using the correct trimming tool (non-magnetic/copper) adjust the core of T15 then T14 for a peak/maximum S-Meter reading. That's it!

Note: The RF Amp Q1 is "Broadband" anyway, using the RF Octave Filters to "tune" the Input, and Q2 acts as a buffer on the Output, so there's nothing upset or needing re-alignment here anyway!
