					ORKNEY EXPEDITION 1992 The Orkney Isles number sixty seven.of which twenty nine are inhabited.They extend north-ward for upwards of 48 miles. From aboard the "MV Pole Star" G4LTH, G4WSB & Myself G0SGB operated GB4OI/mm , using a Bolkov 105D helicopter we Island hopped our way through the Orkney Isles taking in all lighthouses as we went. 		SHETLAND EXPEDITION 1989 Over 100 Islands make up the archipelago of Shetland. Lerwick, the capitol is just over 200 miles from Aberdeen, Bergen in Norway & Torshavn in the Faroe Islands.23,000 people live on the Islands but only 15 of the islands are continuously inhabited. G4UXU, GM0AVR, G1DRG,  G4LTH & Myself made up the Expedition Team which activated All Islands in the Out Skerries including Bound Skerry Lighthouse
		SHETLAND EXPEDITION 1996 G4LTH, G4WSB & GØSGB returned to Shetland to activated Muckle Flugga Lighthouse using a Bond Helicopter as transport.
