The aim of the club is to stimulate interest in Amateur Radio within the College, to help listening members qualify for their licences, to help Novice and Class B licensees to upgrade, and to give operating experience to all licensed members.

Currently, the above are the only licensed members in the College. However, there are two candidates for the next Radio Amateurs’ Examination.
There is an RAE course also open to the general public. Sessions are on term time Monday evenings from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m.
