I had a dogs life until around 1964 I discovered radio !

In my little village of Moulton where I was born there was a rumour of a special radio station soon to be on medium wave with non stop pop music.....until then the national radio providers to the UK the BBC totally ignored the needs of the young ! Before to long test signals were heard followed by a station appearing called Radio Caroline that was just what every teenager desired including myself.It was brilliant and stirred a need in me to learn more about how and where the music and chat came from and "bingo" the radio bug had bitten me for the first time and of course eventually was to lead my adventure into the world of amateur radio.
