President's Message It has been a busy month, and, with the flea market coming up, it's about to get busier! We are still searching for a non-profit group to handle the refreshments for the flea, so if you know any Boy Scouts who would like to make some money, have them contact one of the flea market committee. The financial risk is low, and they stand to make a good bit of money for their troop. Speaking of the flea market; we need all the bodies we can get to help make it a success. Remember that we are helping the vendors move their stuff again, so if you grab a cart, you don't need to visit the gym! The report on the repeater antenna from Dennis, high atop the tower, is that a high SWR was measured at the antenna. We will most likely need to remove and repair the antenna once again. The weekend after the flea market has been suggested as a possibility. Thanks to all that came and helped out at JOTA. Cub Scouts and parents enjoyed talking to hams and other scouts. Photos coming soon to the web.

out to the antenna they could see. We ran 2 stations, the club Novice rig, TS-430 and my Elecraft K2 for a while, then replaced that with Bob's TS-450 for the PSK-31 demo. Antennas were a 10m Ringo on 20 ft mast and a 20m inverted vee up 50 ft in the trees.
