Sign up now for the fall CW class and pass the 5 wpm exam in just 6 weeks! Classes begin September 23, 2000 and will be held at the Club location, Danforth Museum basement on Saturday mornings, 9:30 am to noon. Codeless Technicians especially welcome but the classes are open to anyone wishing to upgrade to General or Extra, or renew their code proficiency in sending or receiving.
If interested contact Ed W1NXC or any Club officer. Join the fun on the HF bands-5 wpm is the only code speed required for the General and Extra class licenses.

The FARA email reflector is working well. It provides us with an easy way to reach all our members who have email. You have to sign up so it will reach you, though.
To sign up, send a message to [email protected] with contents "subscribe FraminghamARA-L". (Without the quotes, of course).  The subject can be left blank, the server only looks at the contents of the message.  You'll get back a confirmation, follow its instructions exactly, then you're on the list!

SEMARA Flea Market--Sep. 10

Southeastern Massachusetts ARA(SEMARA) annual fleamarket. No fee for sellers with setup starting at 6 am. $2 admission fee for buyers, gate opens at 9. The popular food tent is open all day. FARA Scholarship Winners

The FARA Scholarship was awarded at the August Meeting to FARA members: Kristi Lees N1JFP, Lori Belliveau N1TBP, Kevin Goodwin N1JMY and Robert Hess N1UVA.  250 dollars was awarded to each.  All awardees are currently attending college
