6 Meter , Magic band - is totally new land for EX amateurs . Nobody , never before , not work from EX country. The reason is simple - formerly USSR bandplan has frequency assignment for 49.750 MHz on I channel TV broadcast. Powerful transmitters made any activity impossible... But times is changed. First man , who made first QSO on six, was good friend of mine Sergey Tkachenko EX8MLE . At 17 june 2001 about 18:30GMT first contact with IK2EAD op.Romeo in CW with 559/559 report (not confirmed yet) . New challenge begin...
