Johnson County, Kentucky Flooding

(EKRN) - Johnson County, Kentucky Flood : Local Amateur Radio Operators were among the first on the scene to provide emergancy communications to n fro, as well support ECOMM for S n Rs. I placed a website with a very small amount of pictures I saw about this flooding. here is that link.... EKRN Flood Pics ARES and other Amateur Radio volunteers were on the air over 40 hours. The two meter frequencies, including the Eastern Kentucky Repeater Network (EKRN). The ECOMM net on the EKRN was started with a severe weather net then progressed into a full SKYWARN net. Later the State ARES EC ordered the EKRN into a full ECOMM directed net for the duration till the ECOMM was no longer needed after almost at 40 hours total time on of ECOMM, WX and SKYWARN communications were finished.
