BUSINESS ARISING FROM THE MINUTES:

Ø      No word from Shaw Cable regarding the lease on the building on Morrissey Ridge.  It may be possible to relocate to another building at the same site.

Ø      The Children’s festival went well.

May 2010 Financial Statement

VE7NEK will be investigating putting some funds into the Kootenay Credit union in a 21 month GST to earn more interest.

 

MOTION: Accept the Treasurer’s report as presented. Seconded VE7LOC

 

NEW BUSINESS:

Ø      Field Day June 26 – 27 – Pot luck Sat. evening.  Status will be emergency power station using a portable antenna.  On Sunday the 7th Day Adventist group would like an operating demo.  Also an NVIS demo antenna will be set up for testing.

Ø      Accordian Fest July 5th to 10th this year.  VE7NEK will find out if we are to do parking again this year.

Ø      Mt. Baker road is open, also Midgely and Spillamachine as well.

Ø      Pilot Point repeater site; - the Nelson folks will be working on it soon.
