CORRESPONDENCE:         Credit Union bond maturing.

Email from Nakusp, re: radio repairs.

 

BUSINESS ARISING FROM THE MINUTES:

Ø  VE7CRJ          Phoned for 210C2 antenna for Sparwood ridge, $800. CRJ will look at only obtaining the needed wiring instead of the whole antenna.

Ø  VE7CRJ          A workshop for new hams was proposed.  Shane will approach the CLDS executive for organizing a fun day, free prizes etc. including station set up for different skills, target date April 1st.

NEW BUSINESS:

Ø  VE7CRJ          Morrissey power cut due to construction Can’t be fixed till spring

§  Golden repeater power supply went, hasn’t been replaced yet.

§  Science fair Feb. 23rd 8:30 – 9:30 setup, doors open 10-3pm

§  Annual supper April 14th (?) LOC & NEK will organize

Ø  VE7NEK        Credit Union (KSCU) 1.85% or ING 1.40% Gic @ 18 mo.

Ø  VE7CRJ          Victoria PEP meeting – PEP will not be a non-profit society but will continue to be funded by government. PEP net Wed. nights 8:00 pm 3735.

Ø  VE7LOC        Cadet evening went well.  SKT and LOC dealt with level 1’s.  We had radio gear display, did some activities on phonetics, some basic operator techniques etc.
