Frame completion

The last length of 60*40mm box section is welded into place

Another visit to the metal company to source and prepare steel plate for base plate and gusset pieces

Mast support

112*112 mm box section steel 7mm plate being cut to aproximate length

Base plate 34" square 12mm thick plate with mast post tacked vertical

Progress

Tony just having tacked 2 gusset pieces into place

Temporary assembly before final welding to determine if all is well

Next I have to get 1 1/2 or 2 ton trailer springs, mudguards and U-bolts, the brackets to fix springs to the frame are already made

Then the axle will be fixed to the frame and the draw bar will have to be welded into place

It is hoped to have that much done sometime next week
