1988 Started Pactor 1 with pk232

1994 Started Pactor 2 with ptc-II

I have used Pactor-II from the very beginning (using one of the first 10 PTC-II's) and I am still very happy with it.The PTC-II can handle many modes like :pactor 1 and 2,rtty,cw,navtex,packet (with additional little printed boards mounted),sstv,psk31 and dsp filter.For more info look at the scs website (see links).

 My favourite windows program is SIMPLE.EXE written by Paul DJ0CU (free download at SCS website).In Dilbeek I am frequently active in packet ,so there I use another very nice program called NCWINPTC.It is written by Roel PA0NC(free download at his website.see links).

May 2002: Now Pactor III and Simple32 Gold.

This month SCS introduced pactor III being much faster then pactor II.

Because of this speed it is very suitable for binary transfer of eg Pictures.
It inspired Paul/DJ0CU to develop a new programm -Simple Gold- making these 
transmissions very easy and fast.We normally exchange Pictures with a format of 
640x480 in .jpg being between 15 and 50 kbytes.If the signal strength is above s 8
the transfer goes with a speed of 8-11 kbytes per minute.Only strong qrm or multipath
distorsion delay the speed.OFCOURSE THE PICTURE QUALITY IS ALWAYS 100 %.
