     The first DATV experiments in Europe or maybe worldwide,took place in 1995 over a distance of 50 km by DJ8DW

On 9 November 1998 Uwe DJ8DW succeeded to transmit a DATV video signal with moving pictures over a distance of 100 km with a bandwidth of 2 mHz on 70 cm.(Wuppertal Germany-Someren Holland).
