    Days Of Our Lives Soap-Opera (several episodes) late Dec1999-Jan2000. Using parts from an old record player & antique radio, the (usually evil) Stefano Dimera constructs a device which can transmit Morse Code on one frequency only, that of a Paris radio station. For several episodes, he (supposedly) taps out SOS signals to the radio station's disc jockey, who eventually hears the signal. Police are sent out to find the location from which the signal is being sent (the turret of a castle in the French countryside) but are thwarted in its efforts by the castle's caretaker, who later climbs onto the castle roof & just manages to rip down the antenna during a rainstorm before falling to the ground & lapsing into a coma for several days.
