TARLAC - SIGMA INC.

is a non-stock, non-profit organization engaged in Amateur Radio Service.

The Organization shall supervise its members and shall institute measures within its organization to ensure compliance with existing Radio Laws and Regulations.

The organization shall perform amateur radio activities, emergency responses and other amateur radio services to the community and government agencies and provide such other information that might be of interest to the Amateur Radio Service.

TWENTY ONE years ago, four men dreamed of creating a communications group whose ideals center on the noble task of service to others - with the help of a radio. It is this dream which continues the flow of dedication and sincerity in the bloodstreams of Spectrum Communications and its members. Today, Spectrum Communications is a by-word in extending humanitarian projects to assist civic organizations' objectives. Spectrum Communications has acted as an emergency task force by extending services during calamities, accidents, traffic control, call for police assistance, political exercises, sports events.

EIGHTEEN years ago, sixteen men in Tarlac organized the SPECTRUM COMMUNICATIONS Tarlac Chapter. With the same ideals of public service as its mother chapter, the group managed to place communications where it rightfully belongs. For us, radio is a tool. A tool for positive use. A tool for public service. Today, Spectrum Tarlac is well-known not only during calamities, accidents, traffic control, or sporting events, but in humanitarian and social activities as well. For many years now, Spectrum Tarlac has played a Santa Claus to hundreds of poor patients at a provincial hospital.

The events in the existence of Spectrum Tarlac bear witness the caliber, quality, and dedication of its members. One of its officers once said that Spectrum is "not made of steel and metal, but of mind and soul." With the members' support, trust, friendship, and brotherhood, the group becomes a dream no more.
