Whereas, there is a need to create a foundation to further institutionalize the Philippine Amateur Radio Association, Inc.

Whereas, there is a need to recognize the efforts of pioneering Filipino individuals who as being officers and lifetime members of PARA have also served as stalwarts and proponents of ham radio in the Philippines and will be given the distinction of being the pillars of the PARA foundation.

Whereas, the foundation shall serve as trustee and oversee all donations, pledges, grants, aids, subsidies, step-ends, securities, equipments, properties, both tangible and intangible for and in behalf of the Philippine Amateur Radio Association, Inc.

Whereas, the foundation shall serve and establish a charitable institution of learning or education center to further develop science and technology and increase the number of highly trained Filipino technician and scientists/experimenters.

Whereas, the foundation shall lend and exchange technical expertise and consultancy both in government and private sector and shall likewise accept per diems, aids, grants and other financial benefits in the form of donations from local and foreign sources.

Whereas, the foundation shall serve and establish as a study center for research and development of science of radio, amateur radio satellite services and its related technologies.

Now therefore, let it be resolved as it is hereby resolved by the officers and members of the the Board of the Philippine Amateur Radio Association, Inc. creating the PARA Foundation.
