The Asheboro 147.255+(82.5, K4ITL) repeater has been completely
replaced and relocated to Level Cross. It's now at 1550 feet AGL and
offers solid mobile coverage from Apex to Statesville, and can reach
into Raleigh and Clayton (as well as Morganton, Charlotte, and Mt.
Airy) with some combination of higher power and elevation. Danny,
K4ITL, has built an incredible PCRN machine here.

The 147.135+ Chapel Hill K4ITL 82.5 A PCRN repeater from 1000 feet
up the WUNC TV tower also has great coverage to the western part of
North Carolina!

(Sep 2002) The N4ZBB 444.675 + (100.0 pl) repeater is no longer in Durham. It has been relocated to a 350 ft tower at the NC State Fairgrounds in Raleigh.

The KA2FWC 443.625 / 448.625 PL 100.0 repeater is now on the air from a tower at Hwy 55 and Cornwallis in South Durham near Research Triangle Park. The designed coverage area favors the west-southwest into RTP but includes mobile penetration as far east as RDU airport. This repeater should give good HT coverage and some in building coverage In RTP and South Durham locations.

The 444.925+ (100.0 pl) KB4WGA repeater is located in North East Durham near I85 at Hwy 70 east on an antenna at 500'. The designed HT coverage area favors the west-southwest into downtown Durham. It also has good coverage over most of Falls Lake in East Durham.

The 443.275+ (100.0 PL) WA4WTX Rougemont / Red Mountain machine is in northern Durham County. Good coverage to HTs north of the Eno River and Bahama.

The 444.100+ (CS) WR4AGC, DFMA's machine covers downtown Durham from the VA Hospital (right across the street from Duke University Medical Center). Open autopatch, and a VHF remote base.

443.425, (156.7 PL) K4GWH machine in Durham County near RDU at I-40 and I-540 Part of the full-time link Graham Repeater Assn.
