SV8/DL7VSN/p on Mykonos

We started our last minute travel with Aero Loyd on the 12th of July 12.25 UTC from Berlin via Santorin Island to Mykonos Island. We haven't had any problems with the radio equipment (see travel to Tanzania). The representative from TUI and the owner of the hotel welcame us at the airport. During our fifteen minute trip to the hotel, I got the permission to do ham radio and to erect the antenna at the roof. Because we have had some delay on Santorin Island we reached our hotel 17.30 UTC (20.30 local time). Therefore we erected the groundplane at next day. After the erection of the groundplane at the roof my wife and me tuned the antenna. AT 13.47 UTC I did my first QSO as SV8/DL7VSN/p with SM7VIK on 21MHz.

The working conditions to Asia were not so good, because some hills are in this direction. I worked on the radio every morning and every night. So I reached all continents (without Antarctica) and 65 DXCC countries (new - entities). I did 100 QSO's in RTTY, the rest only in CW and two QSO's in SSB

QSO - Statistic:

MHz 7 14 21 28
QSO 91 959 405 85

Here you can find the L O G - search
