I work in a data processing company in Berlin.
My hobbies are badminton and amateur radio.
New Address:
Buergerheimstr. 19

My special interests in amateur radio are:
- CW - I am keying with the good old Morse key.
- collecting DXCC countries - That means I have to wait for QSL cards quite
a long time.
- collecting IOTA islands - I lived on the Isle of Ruegen for 18 years.
First contact with radio I have had 1982 as teletypewriter and later
as a wireless operator in the maritime mobile service on the coast
station Ruegen Radio (Y5M).
Since June 4, 1992 I have the amateur radio licence class B.
My equipment:
- SW - Yaesu Transceiver FT-897, Antenna Tuner MFJ-945E,
RFT Morse key, electronic key ETM 1C

I am often working as DL7VSN/p. When staying with my parents on the
Isle of Ruegen, I use a windom (FD4) in the garden. When staying with my
father-in-law (Reiner DL3BRE in Bernau), we use a Fritzel beam for 14, 18,
21, 24 and 28 MHz and a Kelemen dipole for 10, 7, 3,5 and 1,8 MHz.
For other portable activities I have a gp and some dipoles (HyGain and DX-Wire).
