         since this time on air at nearly every day

        Member of DARC (OV A02), German DX Foundation (GDXF # 655), SDXG, ACLV e.V.

        on air: 160 to 6m in CW,SSB,RTTY and PSK31

        favourites: DXCC/IOTA hunting, DXpeditions, contesting

        the early years: I started to work for DXCC,IOTA,WAS and other awards 

                               many contest activities single or multi operations followed 

         August/September 2004

        I started together with Andy,DL3GA my first DXPEDITION to the Maldives as 8Q7JF.

        We finsihed with about 7500 QSO's from Kandooma Island - South Male Atoll Indian Ocean.

        After some contest activities in 2005 heavy DX hunting like the years before

        the show goes on in 2006.....

         May 2006

        I logged in two days nearly 2000 QSO's with the callsign DQ2006A.

        It was a special callsign for the FIFA World Football Championship.

        August 2006

        Activity on the island of Fehmarn with the callsign DA2006LH as a team operation.

        More than 3000 QSO's in two days of operation.

         September 06

        Together with Mathew,DJ2HD and Wolfgang,DH3WO I travelled

        to the state of Lesotho - Africa to run my second DXpedition.

        6500 QSO's are in our log.

        July 08

        Teammember @ DA0HQ for running the IARU HF World Championship (1st participation) 

        5th place in the World Championship with the German National Team

        Together with Mathew,DJ2HD I had a trip to the Principality of Liechtenstein

        to run the next DXpedition. Nearly 3000 QSO's within 4 days are in the logs.

        February 09

        I 'm gonna started my first solo DXpedition.

        Entitie was the Seychelles. I worked from Praslin Island (AF024) as S79JF.

        More than 3500 QSO's are in the log with 2400 individual calls.

        July 09

        World Champion as a team member of the German National Team

        August 09

        My second DXpedition in 2009 starts in late August.

        I had a fantastic trip together with Egon,DL2IX to the Acores (Faial Island EU-175)

        We were able to reach 5500 QSO's in a 10 day operation from the QTH in the Atlantic Ocean.        

        February 10        

        My second solo DXpedition gonna started in late February 2010 from Negara Brunei Darussalam.

        QTH was near the capital of Bandar Seri Begawan. In nearly 10 days I logged exactly 5600 QSO's

        as V88/DL7JAN

        July 10

        second time World Champion as a team member of the German National Team

        February 11

        This time I decided to go for a DXpedition to the Caribbean. In late February I had a fantastic trip

        to the island of Dominica (NA-101). The trip to the Commonwealth of Dominica was my 3rd solo trip.

        In nearly 12 days I reached 6.650 QSO's without dupes as J79AN.
