For transportating the dish from Franks (DD1XF) location to my house, we used a trailer normally used for cars. The dish is abt. 15 feet (4.5m)
diameter. To be 'on the safe side' (bridges above highways are abt. 13 feet (4m) in Germany) we disassembled parts of the outer ring of the
dish.
After some 55km we arrived safe with no problems (read police controls) at my QTH
