Foreign trips

A composition of a series of lightweight, small Amateur Radio "expeditions", mostly combinated with a family holiday (what is the reason for the low QSO results, hi), offers a short insight into all single trips of the past years. Some more pictures can be found here, QSO statistics here.

PA/DL5DCL 2010

A new journey to the West Frisian Island Ameland IOTA EU-038 took place from April 4 to 9, 2010. PA/DL5DCL closed after around 6 days of holiday style activity with 747 Qs, 664 on 40m and 83 on 20m, 699 unique stations in 100 percent CW. The location was the same as in 2009, therefore it was used the same 2009 QSL layout.

PA/DL5DCL 2009

An initial activation of EU-038 took place from April 14 to 16, 2009 during a short trip to Ameland Island. PA/DL5DCL closed after 3 days with 152 Qs, all taken on 20m CW.

EA6/DL5DCL 2007

The third activity of the Balearic Islands IOTA EU-004 took place from June 27 to July 04, 2007. EA6/DL5DCL closed after 7 days with 587 Qs all taken on 20m CW.
The location was the same as in 1999, therefore it was used the same 1999 QSL layout.

EA6/DL5DCL 2000

A new journey to Mallorca Island took place from July 21 to 31, 2000 and continued the success of the first experience in 1999. EA6/DL5DCL closed after 10 days with 1170 Qs in the log.
The location was Cala D`or in the southeast part of the Island.

EA6/DL5DCL 1999

A first activation from EU-004 were realize during a stay on Mallorca Island between July 10 and 24, 1999. The first radio experience, performed by DL5DCL ever, closed after 10 days with 1059 Qs.
The location was Mal Pas, near the city of Alcudia, in the northern part of the Island.
