DL4YHF's Amateur Radio Software:
Download site for DL4YHF's extended variant of WSQ
(ZL2AFP's Weak Signal QSO mode for LF/MF)

DL4YHF's WSQ site: http://www.qsl.net/dl4yhf/WSQ/index.html
Original WSQ from: http://www.qsl.net/zl1bpu/SOFT/WSQ.htm

Last updated: April 2014 (this page, the WSQ2 software itself may be newer)

What is WSQ ?

The original WSQ software was written by Con Wassilieff (ZL2AFP). It means "Weak-Signal QSO", with the emphasis on QSO - which means it's not intended as a beacon mode (we already have WSPR, and to some extent WSJTX / JT9 / JT65 for that purpose).
All you need to know about WSQ is hosted on Murray Greenman's site, so don't miss http://www.qsl.net/zl1bpu/SOFT/WSQ.htm !

Details about DL4YHF's modified variant of the WSQ software are in an extra document which is also contained in the zipped archive with the executable (but please read on; the link to the executable, and to the sourcecode archive, follows further below).

Before download ... here's the usual Disclaimer

Installation

To install, simply unzip everything into a directory of your choice (be sure to keep the subdirectory structure within the archive). Under "Vista", Windows 7, and possibly any later windows version, do NOT place this directory under the windows 'Programs' folder (or whatever the name of that folder may be) because in that case, the program may not have write permission to "its own" files (which it places in the same directory where also the executable is located) - for example, logged wave audio files, etc. Suggestion:
  Unzip the archive into C:\Ham_Radio\WSQ\*.*
A short introduction is contained in the html subdirectory.

If you are curious about the modified WSQ sourcecodes, download this archive with all C, CPP, H, DFM, and BPR files. If you really want to compile it yourself, you will need Borland C++Builder or PellesC .

Good luck, and hope to have a QSO with you (in any mode) soon !
Wolf, DL4YHF .
