Hello, and thank you for visiting my home page!
This is my very fist attempt at publishing on the Web, so I hope you are not too disappointed with this document. I am an active radio ham and would like to introduce myself and my hobby to you.
I was born on June 7, 1973, and got my first license in December 1989. It did not take too much time for me to figure out that short wave is my very favorite part of the hobby.
I started with small towers, small antennas and old rigs. Nowadays, I have 300 meters of coax, 500 meters of antenna wire in the air, over 600 meters of radials, one 20 meter tower, and several wooden masts arranged in my garden.
I use a Kenwood TS-940 that is driving an Ameritron AL-1200 amplifier. My antennas change very often, but the following is the current setup:
| 160m | top loaded vertical (vertical part: 21 meters) |
| 160m | dipole @ 20 meters |
| 80m | W8JK, phased loops, phased verticals |
| 40m | phased verticals, 2 element wire beam,
end-loaded dipole @21 meters (15 meter element length) |
| 30m | phased groundplanes |
| 20, 17, 15, 12, 10m | 12 element log periodic on 10 meter boom,
designed by DF2BO, built by DL2OBO |
| Receiving antenna | 200 meter two-wire beverage (east/west) |
I am very pleased with the log book program "LOGic" by PDA. It really is the best I have ever seen. Contact Dennis, WN4AZY, at PDA, if you would like to find out more. For contests, I use QWby DL4MFM.
In December 1996, our club was issued the club call DFØEE. Please give us points during any contest you hear us!
So much for now. Please let me know what you think of this page. I really would like to hear from you!
73 es good DX!
Tom, DL2OBO.
No good web page can afford to be without them: links to other places on the web. Please give the following pages a try:

Felix helped me in setting up this page, so he said I would have to include this link.
