DL1YFF on Helgoland Island | |
In September we had an expedition to the Island of Helgoland, which is situated in the German Sea, about 40 miles offshore. We only were two, Jochen, DH8IJ and I myself, DL1YFF. We operated from the Island under poor conditions (only a vertical for the 20m band).
The island belongs to Schleswig-Holstein South West group (HELGOLAND, HELGOLAND DUENE, NEUWERK). The IOTA reference No is EU-127.
The above shown card is ordered and will be available by the end of October, may be a bit later.
Therefore be a bit patient and wait for delivery. As soon as possible I will answer your requests. DH8IJ will answer his calls himself.
