In october 2003 I was with my wife for any days on the island Ruegen. It was not a "IOTA - expedition",

it was a little holiday trip for our recovery.

 

Information to Ruegen: - Biggest german island in the Baltic Sea, - area about 976 sq.km - about 74.000 inhabitants - center of tourism at the coast of the Baltic Sea - 83 km coast line with beach (sand and natural) - many villages, churches, lighthouses...   moore information by www.ruegen.de (german / english)

 

Our location was on the eastside of Ruegen Island in the seaside resort Sellin. The location was fantastic, nice coast

with famous views an nice woods.

We maked also trips to the lighthouse at Kap Arkona and also to the lighthouse Dornbusch on the island Hiddensee.

Amateurradio

 

 I worked with mobil equipment - 100 W und G5RV antenna (6m high) any days at the evening.

 

I prepare a special QSL-card and will send all cards via the buro.
