Beacons are very good to checkout the conditions on shortwave bands around the world. Better results you will have with an exactly timclock on your system, then every 10 seconds changing the beacon. I,m using a radio controlled clock. More about the beaconsystem on the page from NCDXF.

I,m use for longtime the freewareprogram BeaconClock by KW7KW.  of BeaconClock, more on the page from om Stan KW7KW   If BeaconClock not running on your sytem, this program requires the latest Microsoft run-time-files (6.0).
