Light Pollution in JO22eb (Rijswijk)

Urban astronomy, yes, it is possible. In the district "Zuid Holland" we (amateur astronomers) are suffering from many light sources brightening the sky during night-time, such as greenhouses, illuminated highways, neighbours w/o curtains, etc. Shown here are the good conditions of March 22nd 2004 around 23:20. Good for this place... the stars of Orion's sword are clearly visible...
Images were taken using an Olympus Camedia C2020-Z with set to 16s exposure time.
