About me

Hi folks, that's me, Peter DK4BF!
Let me give you some personel information:
I was born in 1951. Now I'm living and working in Braunschweig,which is located in LowerSaxony in northern Germany about 50 km east of Hannover, 200 Km south of Hamburg and 250 Km west of Berlin.
I'm married with Ruth and we have four children.
I got my first ham-radio licence in 1968 with the call DC8FE. Since 1971 my call-sign is DK4BF.

I'm a member of the (German)Deutscher Amateur Radio Club DARC and G-QRP club
At the moment I'm not very active in amateurradio because my landlord did not allow an outside antenna :-((.

Under construction is a small 80-meter SSB Tranceiver for qrp. I hope with this I will be able to do some portable shortwave activities.
