dear homepage visitor, this
is Mirko, DJ1AA. I was born in 1963 in Einbeck, Germany. My profession is
electrical engineering and quality management. I
start with amateur radio in the early 1980 with my ex C-class call DG1AAF. I
updated some years later to A-class call DH8AAF. My final call DL8ABO I got
in the mid nineties. In 2000 I changed my CEPT class 1 call DL8ABO to DJ1AA
again ! Also
in the mid nineties I made the US AMATEUR EXTRA class license and I am QRV in
the US under AB0DL. QSL cards for contacts with the US call please via DJ1AA
by the DARC buro Germany or direct to the German Address. By
the way, on the downloaded picture you can see me in a Hotal in Tel-Aviv, Israel
(4X). In the early 2000 I was QRV 3 month from 4X under my ex call
4X/DL8ABO/P. I am
collecting Islands and I am operating from Islands as well. I was QRV from
some interesting Islands on the world. QRV

is JO41XU, about 70km south of Hanover, Germany. My small city Kreiensen is
located in the Leine valley and about 120m asl. The mountains around my city
grows up to about 400m asl. So my VHF, UHF, SHF position is not the best for
DX, but on short wave everything is well. My 6 element Yagi is 23m over
ground on my antenna tower. Now
