PocketPC Beacon

PocketPC Beacon is a Beacon Clock / Calculation Software for the NCDXF / IARU HF Beacon network.

It runs on all Windows CE 3.0 (or later) PocketPC devices. (MIPS and SH3 version available on request)

The software has the following features:

• Shows the previous / currently / next active beacon on the selected beacon frequency
• Shows distance and bearing from the user's QTH to the beacon location
• UTC Clock in hh:mm:ss formate independent from PocketPC local time settings
• Overview of the beacon network locations on a satellite world map view
• Distance units user selectable (statute miles, kilometer, nautical miles)

PocketPC Beacon is Shareware. You can download and try a fully functional version of PocketPC Beacon for
a trial period of 30 days. If you want to use it for more than 30 days I recommend to register PocketPC Beacon.

Where to download ? Where to register ?

Go to www.handango.com and type into the search box 'PocketPC Beacon'. Once you found my program
you can download it for free from the handango.com web site (that's also a great place for other PocketPC
applications). Please remember that on the handango.com website you can only download the StrongARM
processor version (for iPAQ devices running Windows CE 3.0 or ALL devices running Windows CE 3.5,
or also so called 'PocketPC 2002' - please contact me if you need a MIPS or SH3 processor version)
