District 13 operates on 144.390 utilizing APRS packet mode. ARES stations other than EOCs  have adopted the number "0" as their station icon for ease in identification. Many of the stations are using a TNC Unproto setting of  "N2EDE-3,wide"  with excellent results state wide.   Digital stations are requested to be operational on Tuesday evenings during the district voice net where possible.

PSK31 operations to date have been experimental on both 6M and 2M.  Using audio coupling with computer speakers, successful tests have been conducted both on simplex and through local repeaters.
